The HydraFacial treatment is designed for all skin types. Even the most sensitive skin easily tolerates the HydraFacial treatment. Your aesthetic professional may choose specific treatment serums and/or customize a treatment for your unique skin conditions and needs.
The Treatment and Downtime
HydraFacial is a fast, efficient treatment that takes as little as 30 minutes. You may put on makeup and return to your normal activities right after the treatment since there is no downtime.
Many clients report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last 5 to 7 days or even longer.
How Does it Work?
Forma works by utilizing radio frequency energy to heat the deep layers of the skin. This helps to revitalize collage to improve skin complexion and texture.
The device can be used on any skin areas that could use benefit. Typically, the face is the primary treatment site, specifically the upper and lower eyelids, smile lines, the forehead, cheeks, and neck. Face and body areas that exhibit wrinkles, discoloration or acne scarring are suitable for treatment, including the decolletege, hands, and back. Results may vary.
Results from the treatment can be noticed immediately, but it will be 1-2 weeks before full results resolve. Following this, slight improvements may continue up to three months after the final treatment.
Recovery and Costs of Forma
Downtime associated with the procedure is minimal. To offset mild irritation or reddened skin, makeup can be used 1 to 2 days after the treatment. Patients should expect to see micro lesions a few days after treatment and slight redness for up to 1 week, of which both will then dissipate.
A Forma treatment costs $150. During your consultation, Dr. Whitfield and his staff will be able to give you an accurate estimate of the number of necessary treatments.
Fractora skin treatment is a fractional rejuvenation and resurfacing treatment that reduces wrinkles to slow the effects of aging and restore skin to its youthful appearance. Fractora lets you look and feel younger.
Which Areas Can Be Treated?
The device can be used on any areas that can benefit from skin renewal. The most commonly treated areas include: lower eyelid, upper eyelid, smile lines, forehead, cheeks, mouth, and neck. Face and body areas that exhibit, wrinkles, discoloration or acne scarring are suitable for treatment.
How Many Treatments are Needed?
Depending on treatment needs, patients can expect to have between 1-6 sessions. Results may vary. Visible results can be seen immediately, but typically after two weeks the most noticeable results appear. Improvements continue up to three months after treatment.
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is a technology aimed at treating pigmentation discrepancies in the skin. Brown spots, vascular lesions, freckles, and even Rosacea can be treated effectively with the technology, all without surgery. Dr. Whitfield is proud to offer Lumecca, an IPL laser to help his patients even skin tone, whether it’s the face or elsewhere on the body.
Lumecca Recovery and Costs
The recovery is straightforward. Patients will notice redness and warmth to the skin immediately following treatment, conditions that will dissipate within 24-48 hours.
Some lesions may appear darker but will flake off in the week afterward as the new skin grows underneath. Results from the first treatment will begin to resolve a few days after treatment. The treatments cost $250 per session. Results may vary. During your consultation, Dr. Whitfield and his staff will be able to give you an accurate estimate of the number of necessary treatments.
