FaceTite is a new non-surgical treatment aimed at producing similar results to a surgical facelift, just without the surgery, pain, expense, incisions, or downtime.
The device uses a sophisticated dual-probe system to improve skin laxity of the face and neck, issues that otherwise can only be improved with a surgical facelift. This facial treatment is offered at Dr. Whitfield's cosmetic facility, where he performs some of the best results in non-surgical facelifts in Austin, TX.
Using innovative FaceTite technology allows Dr. Whitfield to firm and lift sagging skin in the following areas:
The FaceTite device works by radiofrequency energy (RF) delivered to the face and neck in order to melt fat and tighten skin. Dr. Whitfield believes our FaceTite and Accutite treatments offer truly remarkable results, the only non-surgical results that have been found to significantly tighten skin.
FaceTite benefits for skin include the following:

Who can benefit from an Austin FaceTite treatment?
We use FaceTite in Austin as a non-surgical device that operates the same as its counterpart for the rest of the body, BodyTite. Both FDA-approved procedures aim to help patients that want to tighten skin and melt fat, but would rather avoid surgery.
Is FaceTite painful?
FaceTite face tightening involves only slight discomfort that most patients find is well tolerated. A special numbing cream and local anesthesia will be applied to the treatment area for improved comfort during the procedure. If you are uncomfortable at any time, please let Dr. Whitfield know so that he can make the necessary adjustments during your treatment session. We want you to have a great experience and great FaceTite results!
Is anesthesia needed for FaceTite procedures?
Our non-surgical facelift does not require general anesthesia, nor an operating room. It is performed in the comfort of a treatment chair right in Dr. Whitfield’s well-equipped treatment rooms. Dr. Whitfield uses local anesthetic when performing the FaceTite treatment. Because it is a minimally invasive procedure, there is no need to be fully sedated to have FaceTite done. If partial sedation is used, it may be necessary to have someone drive you home from the procedure.
How is the FaceTite procedure performed?
The procedure itself consists of creating a very tiny incision near the treatment area so that a probe can be inserted. This incision is so small that no sutures are required after treatment, and there will be no visible scars. The probe heats the deeper layer of tissue, causing it to tighten and contract.
How does FaceTite compare with other non-surgical facelifts?
While Ultherapy and Thermage are two of the more popular non-invasive skin tightening procedures, FaceTite is reported to be less painful and produce more dramatic results than either of them. In Dr. Whitfield’s many years of experience performing laser and energy treatments, he has found the impressive results of FaceTite give it a leading edge over comparable treatments. His Austin patients deserve the best.
Can I go home right after the FaceTite procedure?
Once the procedure is complete, patients can go home right after the procedure but should arrange to have someone drive them home. There is little to no downtime with our FaceTite, and normal activities can be resumed relatively quickly.
Most patients return to work or their normal activities within the first week after treatment. There is no need for surgery, so that means patients can enjoy instant results and a rapid recovery time. This makes it a very attractive alternative to a neck lift or facelift surgery, which can have a downtime of at least 1 to 2 weeks, and up to a year for surgical scars to fade completely. As a nonsurgical facial rejuvenation procedure, there are no scars.
Depending on the size of the treatment area and the amount of tightening that needs to be done, it is recommended that only two or three, maximum, should be treated on the same day.
How long do I have to wait if I need more than one session?
It would be optimal to wait until most of the primary healing is done, so about 6 months.
The results of FaceTite are visibly starting from Day 1 of the procedure. The full extent of treatment results may take up to six months to allow time for the tissue remodeling to occur.
How long do FaceTite results last?
FaceTite results can last up to five years. This does not mean that you will look like you did before you ever had the procedure done, but the natural aging process will not have stopped in the interim. One important point is that the average results of a surgical facelift — with its pain, expense, and downtime — lasts approximately 10+ years. That is the trade-off when comparing surgical vs nonsurgical cosmetic procedures.
