Achieve fuller, more even brows, or perhaps a whole new brow style!
Forget the worry of running out the door without your brows! Microblading is a permanent eyebrow tattoo that can bring a lot of advantages:
Microblading is a tattooing technique in which a small handheld tool made up of several tiny needles is used to create very fine, hair-like strokes that blend into any existing eyebrow hair. Microblading can create, reshape, or enhance natural-looking brows.
Depending on your skin type, the pigment will begin to fade gradually over a period of 12-24 months. Our clients enjoy long-lasting results for up to two years of perfect brows. Some areas of the brow microblading may fade faster than others. That’s why we offer affordably priced touch up services, such as the “just a spot” touchup for a tiny area or a more intensive touch up session. You can make microblading eyebrows last longer by treating them gently. One of the main factors that can lead to eyebrow tattoo fading is sun exposure that occurs over time. Applying a daily sunscreen can protect the brows by warding off damaging UV rays.
Some skin may be more sensitive than others. We will use a numbing cream to start, which helps minimize discomfort. With the numbing cream, there is little to no pain during the procedure. The brows also tend to be less sensitive than certain other parts of the face, so that helps make the appointment easy and manageable to get through.
Microblading is an investment that requires proper preparation in order to get the most out of your brow service. Follow these tips to get the best microblading results possible:
*When scheduling your 1st appointment for microblading, please arrive 15 minutes early to complete necessary paperwork.
If you have any questions about the microblading process, please reach out to the team at Aloe Skin + Body. We are pleased to help and want to make sure you have a great experience from start to finish.
Microblading brows take time to heal. Temporary redness or pink skin are normal responses to a recent microblading procedure. The skin may flake or peel, just like a tattoo does when it heals. Your Austin microblading specialist will provide easy instructions to follow after the appointment, and will also be glad to answer any questions on aftercare and recovery to help make your Austin microblading results the best they can be for the longest length of time possible. Microblading aftercare instructions are as follows:
Full microblading is for those brows that need shaping, density, and naturally added hair strokes.
Complimentary with first full session if completed within 8 weeks of first full microblading treatment – MUST BE SCHEDULED 6-8 WEEKS POST
The spot treatment is for the client that has already received the first full microblading session and the 2nd session. If there is a small area in a brow that didn’t effectively retain pigment after healing or faded more quickly, then a spot treatment can be done.
Brows that need more density, shape, or natural shading This is recommended once or twice a year to prevent too much fading and needs to be within a year after the first full microblading session. Also recommended after the touch up restore in order to complete brows.
12-18 months after first full session This touch up is for existing clients that have little to no pigment left. Recommended to have the TOUCH UP SPARSE session within 4-6 weeks after this touch up in order to perfect this full treatment.
If you’re currently on Accutane or other strong retinoids must wait at least 6 months after treatment ends If recent Botox, Dysport, or filler treatment, wait two weeks before and 2 weeks after your microblading appointment. Not everyone is a good candidate for microblading. The following exceptions may apply:
Make your natural lashes look longer and fuller without extensions! No after care required. Swim, use oils, whatever you want. No need to grab that lash curler anymore. Wake up looking rested and awake! Lasts up to 6-8 weeks.
