What are the InstaLift sutures made of?
The Silhouette InstaLift® sutures are made from two biodegradable materials that have been used in the medical field for decades and are well-tolerated by the body. These are PGA (polyglycolic acid) and PLLA (poly-L-lactic acid). The sutures (threads) are PLLA, and the tiny cones are a combination of the two materials.
Do the results look natural?
Facial recontouring with Silhouette InstaLift® will appear exceptionally natural. The art of subtly lifting your facial skin and repositioning it to its natural, youthful location on your facial structure requires meticulous attention to detail. You can trust that your results will look very natural, refreshed, and will improve as your skin regenerates in the weeks and months following your treatment.
Is InstaLift a substitute for a facelift or neck lift?
A facelift or neck lift may be necessary in cases of more extreme facial sagging, deep creases, or a quantity of sagging skin and fat beneath the chin, sagging neck skin, or vertical bands on the neck. If you are experiencing early signs of aging and your facial skin has started to thin or sag, or deep laugh lines are developing and you are losing the youthful definition at your jawline, a Silhouette InstaLift® could be your answer.
Am I a good candidate for InstaLift?
Candidates for this groundbreaking facial rejuvenation treatment have moderate sagging in the mid-face region, visible laugh lines and marionette lines (from lip corners into the chin), with skin quality that has thinned, but is not too thin. The skin will be carefully moved to its youthful location on your facial structure. If you have an excess of sagging skin due to advanced aging and thinner skin, or skin with little natural fat, another procedure may be more appropriate for you.
How much downtime is there?
The Silhouette InstaLift® has little to no downtime. It is normal to experience some tenderness and mild swelling or soreness for a day or two. You can expect to return to your usual activities within 1 or 2 days of your procedure.
What is the cost of a Silhouette InstaLift?
A Silhouette InstaLift® costs far less than a surgical facelift, at an average of $2,750.
